Please ensure delivery vehicles include a suitable tail-lift or truck ramps where elements being delivered cannot be unloaded / loaded by hand. Deliveries are ‘drop and go’.

N.B. When loading in / out via Denmark Street and Now Arcade, please ensure you have sufficient crew to safely monitor and protect the LED screens on either side of the Now Arcade.

Once the Outernet London Event Team has issued an Approval To Work certificate, we will liaise with you to coordinate booking in production vehicle(s) for un/loading and event crew temporary accreditation and/or passes.

Personal Protective Equipment for load-in/out

Hi-Viz jackets / vests and steel toecap footwear must be worn at ALL times whilst contractors are working in any area, public or private. Hard hats and gloves must also be work if identified by risk assessment control measures.

Safe working area – Chapter 8 Barriers

All event activation works taking place in public areas – with particular focus on truck unloading / loading – must be cordoned off using ‘Chapter 8’ barriers as a minimum requirement prior to works commencing, to prevent members of the public accessing an area where works may be taking place.

Handling Equipment

Please ensure that any trollies or carts used to transport equipment to your event space have rubber wheels to prevent damage to floors.

Banksman requirements

Where trucks might be required to perform unusual manoeuvres, please ensure you place a banksman / banksmen to guide your vehicle and ensure traffic and members of the public are kept at a safe distance.

Parking

Outernet London does not have a carpark and cannot accommodate parking other than for unloading and loading production vehicles. Loading bays are property of Camden Council. Parking Suspensions can be applied for via their website, here. Please contact the Events Team for alternative local advice.

Smoking

Outernet London is non-smoking throughout, including areas within the immediate vicinity of access / egress points.
